馮強，中大新聞傳播和英文系一級榮譽畢業(全班考第一)，劍橋大學及港大碩士。曾任職《華爾街日報》及加拿大《金融郵報》記者、《南華早報》副總編輯、《讀者文摘》總編輯、香港兩所大學公關處處長，現任香港浸會大學傳理學院國際新聞和財經新聞碩士課程主任。2009年出版《瘋讀社論、強化英語》。2010年在《最後六任港督的聲音》一書內分析多位前港督發表的講詞。他在2011年5月出版<<生活英語小智慧>>一書。

HK Baptist University will launch a Doctor of Applied Communication program soon

HK Baptist University will launch (推出) a Doctor of Applied Communication program （應用傳播學博士學位課程）soon

The School of Communication, HKBU,is going to launch the Doctor of Applied Communication program (see Note 1) in collaboration (合作) with the Antai School of Business, Shanghai Jiaotong University.  A Programme Planning Committee, led by an associate dean, will soon be formed for this Programme.

Note 1: Doctor of Applied Communication (DAC); DBA=doctor of business administration (商業管理學博士)。DAC和DBA跟 PhD (in applied communication or business administration)有何不同呢？大家都叫博士。PhD(doctor of philosophy)這個博士比DAC或DBA難考取一些 （論文比較長，也要有創見）。MBA=master of business administration; MFA=master of fine arts. I obtained an MPhi from Cambridge University many years ago. MPhil (master of philosophy) 跟 M.A.又有何不同呢？MPhil 要修課和寫論文，M.A 課程只需要上課。
