Dr Lam Yi Nok  (林以諾博士) performs in his “stand-up” (棟篤笑) “Yeah (see note 1) show (note 2)”

On Sunday afternoon (May 22) I went to see the “YEAH show” [which sounds the same in Cantonese as Jesus (耶穌)] performed by a religious leader Dr Lam Yi Nok. (I want to thank Janet, a reader of my column at the Metro Daily, to introduce me to this lovely show (演出) . There were two parts in the performance. In the first part, there were dancing and singing. Kwan Shum Yin and Mo Kai Yin sang some lovely songs. Mr. Mo also reminiscenced (回憶) the love between him and his wife. He said: “love is tolerance (愛是寬容)”. Then Dr Lam performed his stand-up show, sang songs and preached Christian values (基督教教義) to the 8,000 people gathering in the HK Exhibition Center in Wanchai.
